Marco Polo is an annual basketball league named from Marco Downer; an outstanding basketballer and student who attended Calabar High School and Miami Dade University whom passed tragically in 2024. The tournament is aimed at promoting youth engagement, athletic development and healthy competition. This year; 19 teams (Includes 5 high school, 4 females, 1 Over 45, Edgewater Wolverines 2024 division 1 champions and 2 national basketball league representative), at least one thousand patrons and many more coverage through social media platforms and live streaming.
